Things I Feel Compelled to Say Because I'm Pre-law

For purposes of this blurb, the people who post to this blog will be referred to as "operators/administrators/writers," or just simply in the first person plural, because this is the best term or collection of terms that I can come up with at the moment. Also, the terms "site" and "blog," are used interchangeably herein, and should be construed as such to the greatest extent possible.

This is a blog. As such, it is a forum for us to air and deseminate ideas from a variety of sources. Very few, if any, of these are or will be great brand new truths that we have thought up ourselves while staring at the wall pondering metaphysics. In presenting ideas that others have thought about previously, we may use intellectual property, such as words or pictures, over which other people claim ownership, so as to better illustrate our or their point. In the case of something that quite evidently belongs to someone else, we will give acknowledgement. If you feel intellectual property of yours has been posted on this site without proper citation, please let us know and we will rectify the situation.
So...

Neither this blog nor its operators/administrators/writers, either jointly or individually, claim any title to any other person's, group's, or entity's intellectual property that is or may be posted here. Such material is presented here strictly for illustrative or educational purposes, and does not constitute any claim of ownership on our part. This includes, but need not be limited to, whatever elements of the template, code, and site infrastructure that is or may in the future be owned by Google, Blogger, or any agent or subsidiary of either of these; pictures posted in the content, index, sidebar, or elsewhere on the blog; quotations used on this blog; ideas, symbols, slogans, phrases, trademarks, or other objects regulated by United States and/or international intellectual property laws and/or agreements. However, to the greatest extent allowable by law and preexisting contracts, the operators/administrators/writers of this blog do claim ownership of: the template and code of the site, inasmuch as they have altered it; the posts of this blog, inasmuch as they represent our formulations, arrangement, synthesis, "take on," or novel ramblings regarding our topics, as opposed to mere quoting of someone else; any original artwork by the operators/administrators/writers that is or may be posted to this blog; any entirely original literary, critical, or otherwise typographic (or in the case of a scanned document, scriptographic) work by the operators/administrators/writers that is or may be posted to this blog; the manner of formatting and arrangement with which we organize and present this blog; all other material posted on or forming content, visible or otherwise, of this site, other provisions of this notice withstanding.

Severability notice: If part of this notice is held to be invalid, or I've goofed something up to the degree of rendering it legally void (eg, if "scriptographic" isn't really a word), it shall not impact the applicability of the remainder of this notice.

Common Sense notice: If you're worried enough about what a pair of college students are doing on a blog that doesn't earn them any revenue to go digging into legal issues that would make anything I've written here relavant, you either need a more challenging (or more interesting) life, or better clients.

This is a second test comment. It is to tell you that I love you and that you shouldn't worry about this silly thing.

You altered the test message, so my above comment doesn't make sense. :P

Anyway, you're a dork. And I love you. And those two statements may or may not be somehow related...
