I don't know about any of you, but I saw the rather journalistically triumphant blurb in the paper about Fr. Bozek's midnight mass, reportedly attended by 1500 people who came from near and far to stomp their feet and squeal in childish arrogance at Archbishop Burke. Heck, I can be a disobedient brat from my own house, I don't need to go to St. Louis to do that. But apparently these people felt like they did. 'Tis very sad. And Dr. Peters discusses the curious nature of what they participated in
here.
Update: Dr. Peters apparently has some holiday free time. He discusses the impersonation of a priest
here.

The Catholic Church has never been without controversy...unfortunately, this in St. Louis comes on the heels of serious priest abuse issues, parish closings and consolidations, and general unrest in the diocese.
It is a trying time in one of the oldest and storied Catholic cities West of the Mississippi.
