The Supreme Court
has decided that determined that pro-life activists can't be prosecuted under RICO. For those of you who aren't law junkies, RICO is the federal Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. It's used to prosecute sex traffickers and people like
Sonny Vastola. But if you ask NOW, praying the Rosary and handing out literature in front of abortion mills is legally equivalent to running an interstate drug and extortion ring. Fortunately, the Supreme Court isn't
that stupid. Also, the case is noteworthy for reasons of jurisprudential Federalism: siding with NOW would have required sweepingly inventive commerce clause interpretations that would make
Wickard v. Filburn look subdued. The decision is
